THE REYBURN SCHOOL

Welcome to The Reyburn School of Apparel Pattern Making! Founded by Reyburn Brown, this program provides an in-depth exploration of the fundamentals of custom-fit pattern making for women. Accompany professional apparel fit engineer Reyburn Brown as he leads you in creating custom-fit patterns for women of all shapes and sizes.

The complete course is organized into five chapters:

- Chapter 1: Skirts
- Chapter 2: Tops
- Chapter 3: Sleeves
- Chapter 4: Pants
- Chapter 5: Draping

Each chapter includes twelve detailed lessons, aimed at improving the skills of apparel pattern making for enthusiastic home sewers, fashion students, and experienced industry professionals.

Meet

Reyburn Brown

Reyburn Brown is an Oregon- based pattern-maker, couturier, and founder of The Reyburn school of Apparel Pattern Making and Reyburn Patterns LLC. He studied fashion and pattern making at ESMOD École Supérieure des Arts et techniques de la mode, the International Fashion Design & Business school in Paris France. His specialty is to drape and pattern unique shapes that are difficult to create by technology alone. Reyburn has over two decades of experience in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver BC and Portland, working for brands such as NIKE, Lululemon, Filson, Perry Ellis and Columbia Sportswear. In 2017 he founded The Reyburn School, whose mission is to keep the art of apparel pattern drafting and draping alive.
